Filler Injection of hyaluronic acid to enhance a youthful appearance while adding shape and contour. Filler can be used in a variety of ways including the most popular- lip enhancement. At your consultation your goals will be discussed and the appropriate filler to help you achieve this. We will work together to find the most appropriate filler for your desired outcome. Filler can be a process and can sometimes take multiple appointments to achieve desired result. Safety and caution is always paramount. Improvement is noted immediately, while working toward the desired appearance. 

Lip Filler All lip filler injections are done by our highly trained injector who has an extraordinary attention to detail. Unfiltered Aesthetics is one of the preferred places in Northern Illinois to get a lip enhancement. Desired lip goals are discussed in detail with the appropriate filler to achieve the patient's desired look. We can augment lips to make them bigger, or we can just restore lost volume and provide a little youthful plump.

 Plasma-rich Protein (PRP) Dermal or hair restoration. After a quick blood draw, your blood is separated in a centrifuge, to isolate the plasma. This is known as "liquid gold." The plasma is then injected in the skin or hair depending on the treatment area. There is a temporary immediate result, the skin then has an inflammatory response which releases a natural healing cascade using plasma rich protein. The response prompts the body to repair and rebuild its own collagen that has been lost over the years. Most beneficial if done 3 treatments 4-6 weeks apart. 

Platelet- rich Fibrin: (PRF) PRF is a natural aesthetic injectable that can rejuvenate a youthful appearance. Using a concentration of your blood PRF can restore a smoother and more youthful appearance for most patients. PRF promotes new collagen growth and is one of the newest natural treatments.

Anti-Wrinkle Injections Injection of neurotoxin to reduce wrinkles, decrease sweating in hands and armpits, and facial contouring. Repeated injections over time will atrophy the muscle, thus reducing static and deep lines. There are several different neurotoxins depending on your goals. It can take up to a week to get a full affect and up to two for maximum results. A two week follow up appointment is recommended after your first appointment to ensure the right amount of toxin was used to accomplish the desired outcome. As a first-time patient, it is imperative to your treatment plan that we used the correct dose. This can be hard to evaluate without a follow up. 

TMJ/Facial Slimming Botox- Toxin is injected into the masseter muscle every six months to reduce pain, associated with clenching the temporal mandibular joint. Patients can experience relief from tension, grinding and headaches. Patients also have the added benefit of facial slimming with this procedure. 

Lip Flip A lip flip is a subtle solution for someone wanting to show a more voluminous lip, using a neurotoxin (botox/dysport) without hyaluronic filler. This is a cheaper substitution and last around two months. The muscles around the mouth are over worked which leads to a fast metabolizing of the product. This is a great service in addition to filler, or on its own. This is a very conservative service.

“Gummy Smile Fix” If you have ever felt like your smile is “gummy,” or your upper lip disappears when you smile this is a great aesthetic enhancement. This is a simple procedure using a few injections of neurotoxin with excellent results. Often this is used in conjunction with lip filler for a complete smile makeover, however it can be used alone. Lasts up to three months. 

Kybella This is a fat dissolving treatment using deoxycholic acid. There is some downtime and swelling involved. Kybella is used on chin fat (submental fat) to shrink a "double chin," and usually takes several appointments. 

Micro Needling Micro needling is a collagen induction therapy. By using a micro needling device, a controlled wound is created. The body then recognizes the wound and creates collagen to repair it. Best practice has shown that three treatments a year can repair five years of collagen. Micro needling has also shown to tighten skin and improve texture. Micro needling is an excellent choice for people with acne scars as well. Micro needling can be done with the use of hyaluronic acid, or your own plasma rich protein (Vampire Facial). A numbing cream is applied prior to treatment. 

Vampire Facials This is facial using a micro needling device and technique (see micro needling) using the patient’s own blood. A quick blood draw is done, the blood is then spun down to collect platelets. The platelets are then used in addition to micro needling for enhanced results, further stimulating collagen production, reducing fine lines and accelerating the wound healing process. A numbing cream is applied prior to treatment. 

Hair Restoration Plasma rich protein is used for hair re growth. Bald spots, or thinning spots for men and women can be common with age, illness, or stress. By using your own plasma, it creates a restorative process. Several treatments are recommended. This is an injection process with some discomfort, though minimal. You will not be able to wash your hair for 24 hours- so schedule your appointment accordingly. 

Chemical Peels A variety of chemical peels are used at Unfiltered Aesthetics. At your consultation we can discuss your concerns & goals and select the chemical peel most suitable. Chemical peels can help fine lines, wrinkles, and discoloration. Chemical peels are not appropriate for everyone. Chemical peels vary in intensity and recovery.

Lipo-Mino Injections:  "The Skinny Shot." Sold as a package of 4 patients receive a once weekly injection that uses a combination of B6, Methionine, Inositol, B1, B2, and Choline to convert food to energy. 

Vitamin B Injections: Vitamin B12 injections are available once weekly to increase metabolism and energy.
